Founded in 2007, R3, LLC has helped many companies across various industries maximize the performance of their IT infrastructure and improve the overall end user experience. Our Leadership Team

Rob McGowan

President and CEO

Rob has been providing state of the art, technology infrastructure design and implementation services since 1998. Rob has helped a diverse mix of businesses, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies to maximize and support their internal IT infrastructures. Rob’s worked on systems integrations across all leading computing platforms including network design, installation and implementation, technical support, managed services, and disaster recovery planning and solutions. Through his leadership, Rob has managed and directed his team to maintain technical environments that generate more than $100 million in annual revenue. Rob is a graduate of the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland and is Microsoft and ITIL Certified.

Beth Leonard

Chief Operating Officer COO

Ms. Beth Leonard is a well-respected executive with over 25 years of IT software development and service management lifecycle expertise as well as InfoSec/Cyber management, facility security management, risk and compliance, quality assurance, and process improvement experience across the government contracting industry. She has numerous certifications including ITIL Expert – Trainer – and Proctor, ISO Lead Auditor (ISO standards: 9001, 19011, 20000-1, 27001), A2LA accredited ISO/IEC 17020:2012 assessor, Six Sigma Black, and PMP, and has strong experience in CMMI-DEV, CMMI-SVC, FedRAMP, and NIST SP 800.171/800.53 security controls. Ms. Beth Leonard is an award-winning speaker in her field; frequently invited to both local and international-level industry events to speak about such topics as customer satisfaction, organizational statistical analysis and metrics development, CMMI, ISO, management reviews and techniques, as well as quality assurance. On a personal level she is a master scuba diver and free diver and loves to paddleboard. She is also a NET Cancer patient advocate, speaker, and blogger – nationally as well as internationally through several organizations, and frequently “gives back” to the local community as a volunteer for various causes.

Josef Malnik

Director of Client Services

Josef has over 7 years of IT experience in providing strategic guidance regarding IT technology and infrastructural enhancements to clients and organizations. He is experienced in managing the deployment of numerous IT solutions and the implementation of policies and procedures revolving around ITSM. His role consists of a blend of Customer Success, Sales, and Project Management, so he is heavily involved with each customer from the day they partner with R3. Josef works with key decision makers and stakeholders during the entire customer engagement to ensure a successful delivery of services. Josef graduated from University of Maryland University College with a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity and is ITIL Certified.

Kyle McNaney

Director of Enterprise Services

Kyle is responsible for technical operations and procedures, infrastructure design and standardization. He is the last line of defense in our technical support teams. Kyle has over 10 years of experience in a managed service provider environment. He has served MSPs in New York City, Philadelphia, Maryland, and Washington D.C. in senior roles with a primary focus on the Microsoft stack and private cloud infrastructure design. He studied Computer Technology and Internet Security at York Technical Institute and holds several certifications including Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate: Server 2012 R2 and Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: Communications.

Mike Nastick

Director of Business Development

Mike is responsible for the overall direction of the sales and marketing efforts within the organization. He works closely with the other leaders of R3 to develop, coordinate and execute strategic plans focused on increasing existing business and capturing new opportunities. Mike has over 15 years of experience in the IT field and began his career as an engineer before entering the sales realm. He loves the thrill of meeting new people through the sales process and helping to solve their IT related issues by gaining a thorough understanding of their requirements from a technical perspective and aligning a winning solution to meet their needs.

When he is not in the office capturing new business, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two young daughters, family is what drives him to be at his best every day.
